Combine marshmallows and milk in a double boiler.
3/4 cups mini marshmallows, 1 cup whole milk
Cook over medium to low heat, stirring constantly until marshmallows are dissolved.
Set aside mixture until it is cool.
Whip heavy cream until it is stiff.
1 cup heavy cream
Combine whipped cream, cooled marshmallow mixture, and food coloring.
a few drops red food coloring
Add mixture to ice cream machine, leaving room for strawberries.
Process ice cream according to machines manufacturing instructions. Once mixture starts to thicken (before the mixture becomes too thick), add strawberries.
16 ounces frozen strawberries (defrosted)
Continue mixing with machine until ice cream is thick and frozen.
Transfer to a bowl with lid and freeze for 2 hours.
